disagree. One bad series doesn't negate someone from becoming the GOAT. It's unfortunate that it happened in the finals but it is what it is.
It does when you get to the very top of the mountain. MJ is the goat period. 2nd all time is still attainable though

Hell naw, you know how loose this nikka gonna be playing next year. He got a damn near 20 year monkey off his back, nikkaz in Cleveland probably put that shyt in his head a long time ago that he was going to bring a championship to Cleveland and he finally did it. He playing with house money now.
Breh. For real lebron ain't have no real pressure you see that speech he gave basically saying he was cool winning or not?. He 3 time champ and finals mvp going into his 14th year in the league breh ain't going to be hungry

on the path to becoming the GOAT and im not even kidding

You think he can get 3-4 more rings? He's top 5, argument for top 2-3 can be made but he's got to at least match that 6...all the appearances will erase 2011 if he matches the 6...if he gets 7 (with FMVPs) I'll put him over MJ.

I don't really care about the number of rings, it's the level of play. If he can keep up this level up play for another 3-4 years, I can't justify picking Jordan over him anymore. The edge in longevity will be too big. Their peak / primes are close enough that longevity will be the difference, and LeBron is still playing at such a high level..

Does it matter? If he wins 4 more you still gone care about "context"

Fam, @Jplaya2023 has Jerry West ranked above LeBron, you have to realize who you're talking to sometimes.

Nothing from the present will ever be better than anything from the past when it comes to my breh @Jplaya2023 he on a 02 Gateway computer right this second, using AOL to talk to us.

Fair enough you're entitled to that. To me, I'm putting emphasis on level of play in thr playoffs. What lebron did this series did a lot for his legacy to those that are critics of him in the past (including myself). shyt was incredible yo watch.

LeBron had nice stats the last 3 games, but they are any btter than any 3 game stats he had in last years finals. If he was cemented as a legend last season, he shouldn't be cemented as a legend this season when he had Kyrie doing work.

He was more efficient this year than last, he shot 10% higher from the field.
