If the patient is in your unit. Meditech has it highlighted in blue. Patients not in your unit are greyed out. There's 1 or 2 prompts before you view this information. You literally cannot make this mistake. Multiple nurses fired is interesting though.

If someone viewed Jay-Z's chart and is already in. I'm not gonna login myself, so I'm guessing these people crowded around this single PC and started nosing around. So they basically snitched on each other and said "yeah she was there too."

I worked in a mental health insurance office doing paperwork for mental health patience. One time someone pasted around Clay Aiken's mental health screening. I didn't fukk with it.

Ive worked as a tech at a mental health/drug rehabilitation spot here in my town.the staff will be all in patients personal business talkin shyt like it wasnt nothing!

My wife works at Northwestern. You would have to click on his name, and bypass a confirmation message to see his chart.
Everyone that got fired was being nosey, they don't have grounds to appeal unless they had a legit reason to be in it, they just got caught because they audited due to the the leak.

Most of their Coders/auditors/billers make 60k or more and work from home pretty much full time , Nurses make waaay more as it's a top 2 hospital in the city.

They should be fired because what they did is a violation of hipaa law. You can’t be pulling up people’s medical records all Willy nilly and laughing and joking about it. Yeah it’s funny with Jussie because he a lame, but if your mother was getting treated for a tumor that looked like mr potato head and nurses was joking and making memes out of it you would sue and want them fired.
