its like the video of the kids at the basketball court in Chicago where they had guns.
the part that the people who always say "the kids needs something to do" seem to forget is that there needs to be a flip side of the positive stuff that is done in the communities...
...some of these "kids" just need to go away because they ruin it for everyone else.
Neither side wants to do whats needed...
...there needs to be programs AND we need to charge some of these cats to the game.
Im in Chicago but spend time in Philly.

Philly always had me nervous to be around. Along with legal carry and just how grimey the city looks and how nikkas move.
It's a toss between Baltimore and Philly to me. Alot of folks who went to hustle out there got murdered out there.

A 13 year old shot a damn 11 y/old in the head last year at the skating rink I used to go to
What is the solution for any of this besides the parents doing what they are suppose to do, and raise their children right? I strongly believe some people are not fit to be parents at all, but there is nothing we can do to stop them from reproducing. So, with the combination of a mass of poor quality parents, the normal peer pressure teens go through, and a White Supremacist system that will take every advantage of the situation to make sure they continue down the path to destruction: What can we do to turn any of this around?
I know personally for me, I decided the best I can do is work on the young in my own family to help them see the pitfalls and to avoid them. Those are the only children who are somewhat forced to listen to what I say. I have done big brothers and 100 Black men organizations to help those outside of my family, but at the end of the day I have no real authority over them. If their parents are not reinforcing good character traits in their children, then there is a possibility that they will still fall to the baser instincts of their teenage peer group and still cause havoc.
Sometimes seeing stuff like this makes me go dark and think draconian measures may be the only means to resolve the problems. I come out of it eventually, and instead just focus on building up my family more. And so I think for me, the only solution is to be an example and source of good character for members of my own family. That seems to be all I can see being done, until we have some major paradigm shift happen.
