I’m raising a young black man and so my job as his father is to make siure he’s moving correctly to avoid situations like this. Did I say it was right? It is absolutely unequivocally wrong. It’s also absolutely racist. But we already know law enforcement is racist so we gotta make sure we do everything in our power to ,inimize our contact with them. That means not providing probable cause to fukk with us...no broken tail lights, no expired registration, and etc. Once again the situation is horribly wrong but our take away in addition to apply pressure is to make sure we are moving intelligently out here. It’s like a jew in mazi germany walki)g around withou their jew badge on and wondering why they got hemmed up. The ONLY TIME any cop gets fired or a jail time for their crimes is when it benefits the department. That is the ONLY TIME. Like this Van Dyke case here in Chicago. He wasnt found guilty because of justice. He was found guilty because CPD would have to pay quadruple overtime to all the officers when the citywide protests and possible riots happen if they didnt. His sentence is evidence of it.
