He's right, that's why I have to get some type of wealth so I won't have to rely on a job.

Until you have your own business a lot of what he says will seem crazy. Having your own business is better than a PHD. I'll put it this way. When I realized I generated 60,000 dollars without having a job I knew I could succeed at anything in this world. My confident is high because I know what I can do. I also learned how a business runs day to day. I learned how to monetize my relationships and skill set. I learned about value and how money moves. Also presentation. I learned how to be flexible and organized.
Everybody I meet thinks I'm stupid for dropping out of college. But I think they're stupid for going to college to get a job and not starting their own business while in school and employed. You really want to help our community? Generate enough value in your business to hire black people.
I felt like Obama. I hired two young black people from my hood. One dark skinned beautiful intelligent sister. And my light skinned assistant. I had people twice my age asking me for a job. That's when I knew I made it and I wasn't just a hustler. I blossomed into a business man. A capitalist. A damn good one. I also generated so much value I was able to work with folks from the hood for free or at a rate I'd adjust so they could afford it.
My next business will be taking money from rich crackers and investing in underdeveloped neighborhoods. I'm building from the ground up right now. Hate. Call me a lair. Just know you're salty. You should support young brothers like me. Not insult and tear me down.
Reject me all you want but I represent you whether you like or not. And I'm taking us to the top and I'm killing everyone who tries to stop me from bringing all my people with me. I am my brother's keeper. Are you?

At least your being honest but being honest majority of people like you that need "more direction" perfect for a job not a business.I love Watkinsand maybe I don't get everything he says because I'm not in his "Black Wealth Bootcamp" or any of his seminars that you have to pay for

It always seems like he gives very general "motivational" advice (which is necessary) but sometimes I'm likesome REAL game.
I watched one video where said he told his daughter that her "goal should be to run a business that makes money while you sleep"...
but what business is that?I think he is incredibly intelligent and educated, positive, uplifting, and is saying the things we need to hear. I guess sometimes I want more direction. Anyone can say "hey invest in mutual funds" (which I do currently), but if there are businesses that we should be starting, help us out a little more than just saying "go out there and start a business...don't work for someone else...do it yourself" If you have "run several businesses" tell us about them. What did you need to start? How did you market? How did you network? etc. etc.
Maybe I'm missing something?
Never had to kiss ass for jobs, and my standoffish ass has beaten numerous white folks into jobs (my office job from last year being the most glaring example
