Tax lien aren't always a bad thing and sometimes it's a mistake you have to prove it.
I had a Tax lien because I moved to Maryland in 2007 (for only a year), but for some reason Maryland said i owed them taxes for 2006. Problem (for most people) I didnt get a notice until years later. By the time I found out, they had pass a court judge against me. I have to provide so much evidence and documents. They confiscated 2 of my state taxes return. After a few years, I finally got everything resolved. Got half of my money back. Probably lost a year of my life with all that BS.
If you ever have tax issues, respond like it's life of death. Don't put if off, resolve it fast as you can.
