It's the message it sends to people. nobody is really hating, just calling out the top tier hypocrisy of this shyt.
Blacks as a whole need to stop excusing fukk shyt from other blacks, just because they have money.
you champion a nikka, who never graduated...with an "honorary" doctorate...and then have him preach to hundreds of people who actually worked hard, racked up shytloads of debt...and got degrees?
if that aint a slap in the face, i dont know what is.
So what he does more for Howard than the rest of the alums.... you don't give him an honorary degree for being good at making money, selling liquor and toxic hedonistic lifestyles to blacks.

I'm a student at Howard. I've put in years of hard work towards my degree and I have 17 credits left until I'm done.
I didn't have any issues with Diddy speaking at the commencement
He may not have graduated but, he's an inspiration to any kid going to Howard. He's worth half a billion dollars and he walked the same halls and slept in the same dormitories that we did 25 years ago. He does more for Howard than all these alums combined. He stays giving back. He stays representing HU. He takes time out of his busy schedule to come back to Howard every single year. I guess its good for students to party with Diddy every Homecoming but, god forbid he gives a speech

I'am not here to knock Diddy, but the word graduate in the dictionary means ; a person who has received a degree or diploma on completing a course of study, as in a university, college, or school. He got an " honorary degree" from contributing a shyt load of money to a school. He didn't study anything.
