Ehh, I see the influence but I don't like the hook . . Also Dre rapping about this subject at 50 years old isn't impressive - it'd be nice if he could use some of that credit he gets as a visionary to move the musical content forward since he's not the musical cutting edge he use to be

its his lane though. i think the "artists needs to grow” critical narrative has been proven to be a fallacy. artists are lucky when they disover what they are good at, why switch it up? everyone who tries to switch up almost always disappoints. just take what you good at and try and update it for each new era. except for his post deathrow/pre 2001 era, dre been doing that.
