i'm glad you posted this. so i can state what i've been saying on this site for the past few years or so. this is the main problem i have with this new /current era of youngins and new era mentality. yall first look for the numbers of HYPE before you actually make your OWN judgement call. That to me is pathetic. That to you is the norm. So i say, the norm now is pathetic. who cares if the world isnt hyped about the song. DO YOU LIKE IT OR NOT? YES OR NO> stop looking up Yelp stars to review Music.

This is truly the white kids way of digesting music not black folks. We did not wait around for everyone else to say it was hot first. we heard it and liked it or didnt. LOL at me having 2 ears but first asking if i can borrow yours to see if you like something first before i take a liking or disliking to it based on your review. White folk use to run to the magazines to check what the reviewers said about music then they would agree to get it or hype it based on said review. While black folks were setting trends. Now all folks white black, etc. are just following the trend. terrible.

i mean his newest album has never sounded like his last album. thats the beauty of dre. he stays on the cutting edge. he sets the trends. not the other way around. read my above post. This era has changed how even a guy like him does music or approves music. because yall run around hyping stuff based on if everyone else likes it first. not if you like it. you judge things now based on how much they sound like the last hot song rather than how good the song is and does it have its on lane. where you can tell the difference between song A and song B.

I told yall before, this era is ruining music overall with this trending mentality. you have famous rappers rapping like the newest famous rapper. That use to be called Biting. No one wanted to intentionally copy another man's cadence while rapping even if you liked that dudes style. everyone tried to find their own lane. thats no longer the case. now everyone wants to be in the same lane as the newest hottest guy out. so now you have forced a great producer into this kind of sound because he knows this is the only thing you will buy. dont blame him. blame yourself for this. you did this.

i've said it before..but for being the star or at least one of them..kendrick always underwhelms me

a lot of dudes when they were hot and THE dude they always had guest verses that made you go

cosign all of this. i do still fukk with Dre's sound/flow, but its not AS on point as it used to be.

Ehh, I see the influence but I don't like the hook . . Also Dre rapping about this subject at 50 years old isn't impressive - it'd be nice if he could use some of that credit he gets as a visionary to move the musical content forward since he's not the musical cutting edge he use to be
