Dr. Dre says Eminem is the best emcee ever and he doesn't think anyone that's rapping can touch Eminem on the mic

That’s his artist of course he’s gonna say that. He’s probably still spending money from Em’s debut album. The appeal of Em’s music has gone away though. But he’s the most popular white rapper so his fans gonna keep saying he’s the best. Majority of Dre & Em’s music aged and not for the better.

....Em wouldn't even say this himself though.
....Even he wouldn't agree with that.
-Eminem literally calls himself the goat repeatedly & says the only reason he isn't #1 is because he's white. Why do you think someone who calls himself Rap God wouldn't say or agree with this?

If Em wasn't white, he'd be labeled corny and would be a washed up and forgotten about 90s rapper that never made it, old, bitter, and on thecoli hating on the new rappers.

Then he must change like the weather, because I've seen him mention rappers that he considered better in past interviews.

Could you tell me when Em has said being white is what stops him from being #1?

Extreme proximity bias... but almost everyone from that era has him in their top5
-You talking music fans or industry artists? Most everyone doesn't have him in their top 5.
Simple rebuttal
Em/Jay/Nas all released albums in their prime at the same time
Rank em
-This ranking would definitely be subjective depending on the albums & would probably make a better argument for Em.

Rhyming multi syllables is a skill. Eminem is very accomplished at that.

Strangely enough, the only track of his thats like an anthem is Lose Yourself.

The rest is worthwhile to listen to once, but songs like Stan, while engaging on the first listen have no replay value.

I can listen to Brooklyn Zoo anytime. DWick. Top Billin. Electric Relaxation. These are all songs with more basic rap styles, but they still hit.

Eminem lacks funk. His other qualities make him very nice, but he's missing a huge piece to be considered GOAT

-"My skin color's still working against me, cause second I should be to none/
Being white ain't why they put me at 5, it's why they can't put me at 1/"

-Eminem on "Realest" with EZ Mil.

-I've seen Em give props & say Pac was hit goat rapper before. Doesn't change the fact he calls himself the goat now.
