As much as it's said.....Dre didn't walk away from Death Row with NOTHING......He still got his royalties and he still has conditions like the fact they can only release his music in the way it was released. No one is really sure of the sure of his settlement with Suge to be honest unless you're Dre/Suge or their lawyers. But I believe Dre when he said he walked away with more than nothing.
Dre is suing for past an future royalties he hasn't been paid. That 3 million dollars is money he worked for & The Chronic/Doggystyle/Murder Was the Case.....everything he worked on while at Death Row will continue to be a money maker that will feed his family for years to come. Why wouldn't you sue to get that back.
