Man if you don’t get off this crackers nuts :mjtf:
I'm on his nuts because I'm not dissing him? FoH. I'm stating a basic fact. If you went to medical school, became a doctor, and worked for government for at least 40 years and multiple disease epidemics and a pandemic you are entitled to a good pension. That goes for anyone doing what he did.

The fact that he hasn't retired yet should shut ppl down on their conspiracy foolishness, because he doesn't have to be doing this, getting death threats and having to keep security at all times because of us MAGA folks and all of that.

If he wanted to, he could have retired at the beginning of the pandemic and threw the US people the deuces.
This doesn’t prove anything tho. What if there’s a reason he hasn’t done it yet.

people are addicted to power and attention. This is a well known fact.

To retire would be to fade into relative irrelevancy. He's the US spokesperson for a global pandemic. The spotlight is enormous.

The reason is because he's trying to save lives.

Bro, the spotlight put on him has cast him and his family onto the world stage, made him have to hire security because of very real threats from ppl who want to murder him.

That spotlight ain't worth it for all that. And as far as him being the US spokesperson, that doesn't matter if the President doesn't agree with him, as we saw in 2020 when Trump was publicly disagreeing with him. More ppl are repeating Trump's former talking points (it's just a flu, don't be scared to get out there and live your life, don't trust the scientists, masks don't matter) than were repeating Fauci's talking points.

I definitely don't want to give the vibe that he's anything special. If it were up to me I'd have a panel of doctors speaking about it and giving updates based on their specific areas of expertise instead of just one man with his team just kind of in the background. Covid 19 is a problem that can only be solved with the collaboration of different people. Govt giving money to hospitals to hire more staff, policy makers giving financial incentives to people who get vaccinated. The media not whipping people into a frenzy by posting stories and data that isn't verified and hospital staff putting in work and getting overtime pay theyve earned.

The media is trying to make him specifically into a hero or villain but there are a lot of moving parts to the covid response that go beyond him. A states numbers will be higher if the people in charge aren't supporting the medical staff, putting in good contact tracing methods, and supporting businesses who refuse to serve people who can't prove they've been vaccinated and don't want to take precautions in the store while everyone else is following the rules. I'm mad as hell if I'm in the grocery store and a mf without a mask is standing too close to the line and coughing and sneezing without covering his mouth. I feel no sympathy when those people get hands put on them for getting belligerent when people politely ask them to be considerate.

People will ignore this:
If your boss isn't satisfied with your performance, you are given opportunities to tighten it up. If you fail, you are fired.

If they have evidence that someone else would've been better suited for the job, why has he not been fired and replaced? Trump was firing and replacing people almost every other week when he was president. He's not the best at this, so if they can replace him with a team or another doctor that has better ideas+record they can and should replace him.

The question is then why they aren't. If he steps down and the person that takes over is worse, what do we do then?
