Your broad loves me.....
Damn, I hope she recovers. God bless her and her family.
Sucks she has this experience. But damn cancer at 25?
Always go for a second or third opinion. The worst doctor experience I ever had was with an Indian. Worst dentist experience I ever had was Indian too. I always go for a black doctor even if I have to travel a little further.
The crazy shyt is there are certain type of cancer screenings that the insurance companies wont pay for cause they claim it cost sooo much more than other screeningsDoes it really hurt them or something to just do a screening if the patient requests it? DAMN! This is so frustrating.
Bullshyt. Look at bw adverse health events vs ww. And the bw be whole medical professionals like homegirl in the op.Like another poster said, a lot of doctors see patients like computers and follow a blue print to resolve/troubleshoot the issue.
I work in tech support and if someone comes to me and says their computer is slow or they get disconnected frequently from the network more often times than not we conclude that they have a home wifi/network issue.
These doctors are doing the same thing.. they see a symptom and say no it's just something minor/small not something that can develop into cancer.
Most physicians in my opinion are useless

When going to a doctor if it is serious you get 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 diagnosis from different doctors.
Even if you are poor. You go to multiple public clinics to get the answers you are comfortable with.
Everyone TREAT YOU BODY as you would your car or your apple phone or tablet. Just like when you go to get them repaired and they don't give you the answer you want. You go to someone else and get an opinion.
Finally it is critical for women to get multiple opinions if they are having physical issues. Because overall their bodies have more critical parts because the lord gave them the ability to create and carry life. So as a woman you must get your physicals and annuals and this is not something to play with.
Always get multiple opinions. ALWAYS.
During this time, my husband was serving in the Army. I saw doctors in Alaska, Georgia, and Washington state. This wasn't just one doctor who missed the signs — it was many. After six years we moved to my hometown of Washington, DC. I began receiving my medical care at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and that's where I was finally diagnosed.
Be able to not understand nuance brehs.
Stories like this is exactly why black americans have push back for the healthcare industry and doctors.
Y'all were on some shut up and take the vaccine shyt.
huh????Where was this nuance when you brought up vaccines while talking about a shytty oncologist?
And we fail ourselves by not having more children into even if we have to learn internationally.fukked up. Doctors always fail black folks
I’ve been trying to get test for last 5 years. I’ve changed doctors like 3 times already. Colon cancer runs in my dad’s side of the family and when I told everyone one of my doctors they hit me with your too young.
