So he clearly has a big ego which makes it more likely that he's motivated by self-serving interests. Plus, the design of his site and the lack of specifics about how the raised money will be spent scream unprofessionalism. Plus, he raised money for a school before and has nothing to show for it so either he pocketed the money or he's incapable of doing the things he wants to do.

But, in my opinion, Dr Umar should also list the estimated yearly operating costs, the number of students the school may be able to service, the number of instructors needed, if only students in the area would be able to attend the school, ect.

It will be a residential type school, so kids pretty much live there, there will be a application process to get in, he is going to start with only a few grade levels at first I believe he said 6th - 8th grade and they would add levels as they go, I believe he is going for over 500 kids. St Paul college if I remember needs close to $500,000 in repairs also , he didn't say the # of instructors (but he did imply no homosexual, white or mostly mixed staff will be allowed to work there ) and if you have heard him talk before he has a "unique 'curriculum which again I think will be a deterrent, lastly he didn't mention yearly operating costs but he did say basically that the running of the school will be donation based -_-

Well the problem is that he keeps flip flopping between schools, they tried to offer St Paul just the quarter million they had raised as a down payment and they said no, either the full 4 or nothing, unless some rich African Americans step in i dont see him raising the 4 million and St Paul has already said they won't take less at that point he has said there are two backup plans

- buy a different school
- build a school in Africa

In this article, the author said the same thing I thought about his dubious academic credentials. Someone did post his dissertation from Philadelphia Osteophathic Medicine or wherever, but it seems shady as hell that an academic would act so secretive about their creds. I know academics, and have them in my family. It's considered standard practice to list your school and degree publicly on any endeavor. I don't know why dude just says he's a "certified school psychologist" in all his interviews and on his site, but won't state his info. It's weird.
