Dr. Umar is being a little disingenuous here. There have been rappers who have bought neighborhoods that helped their communities, but Hip Hop as a whole is what he is questioning. There would have to be an official Hip Hop organization that is labeled, titled, and 100 percent backed by rappers, graffiti artists, musicians, etc for this to work. Is it possible? Maybe. Will it happen? I don't think so.
