I used to somewhat root for Umar because he’s a great orator and I agree with most of his views, but between him making two baby mothers and the school reaching Dr Dre’s Detox status, I can’t take him seriously.

How can he have the unmitigated gal to talk about broken black homes when he has created two? How can he dikk watch other black men when he can’t even control his own? How can he talk about creating strong families and black queens and he hasn’t married one?

For all his faults, at least Tariq married a blackish woman, has black children and delivers on his projects. Umar has been stuck on project one for over a decade.

If there are any black youth that are guaranteed to listen to you, it's your black or partially black kids. But for some reason it's more important to try to persuade a bunch of strangers to do something your kids won't do...

nah he's just using common sense. You made the claim she a real one and the burden of proof was on you and basically all you said was "she raised their kids and stayed with him"...where else was she gonna go? How common is that among athletes/celebrities and their wives? I don’t feel like this needs to be explained if you’re paying attention. Yeah I’m pretty confident Vanessa and the girls have zero contact with Kobe’s side of people since that settlement, lines of communication burned, but my question is when does morality kick in and a person just do the right thing in their heart. Who’s to say Kobe’s parents would even accept a check from Vanessa in the first place? Idk breh it’s just some said shyt no way you slice it.
