Yea that was an interesting interview. Umar being Umar. He made some legit points as he always does but towards the end his hypocrisy came shining through.
They asked him about the school and after giving this long meandering spiel of the process he essentially shyts on black men and says it was white men who helped him install the hvac. As though at no point in YEARS he could find ANY decent brothers to do the job.
Then I thought about it… through the decade plus I’ve heard/seen Umar, I’ve never seen him with any consistent brothers around. Like he has NO friends/counsel/or team. And THAT’s WHY he can’t get shyt done. A true megalomaniac that wants all credit. This fool speaks of nation building and ain’t got ONE damn potna you can associate with him. Dr. King had homies, brother Malcolm had homies, the Black Panthers were cliqued up… but not this guy. You really only see him with random single mothers.
He speaks of this grandiose idea of nation building and don’t even have his own team. His oratory skills are commendable, and some of his idealism is the direction we need to head, but his character or lack there of is impeding any progress.

Umar is always talking about responsibility, fatherhood, and stepping up to take care of single mothers. But he has 2 kids out of wedlock with 2 different women and he admitted he isn’t an involved father.

Right answer. This whole shyt people do of trying to separate his alleged wisdom from his lies is the reason he still thrives. And if it's not that it's people saying he's funny.
