Great interview
If dude would stop with the memes and the funny business with the school he would be bulletproof.

Someone shouldve asked him was it ok to go to their colleges. I mean dude brag about having these degrees. Dude a fraud
the best equipped people to speak on white society are ones who have access to their prized education, anyways.
Francess was on another level but dude Umar just regurgitate what other black scholars before him said. There is a reason why Umar and Boyce are doctors as well as Frances. They know how to explain complex shyt and break it down smoothly.
He's from Philly though, polar opposite from the situation in NYC. But I agree people don't have a real reason to hate on him, not 1 at all. Right now he's sounding more credible than Tariq Nasheed because you can tell he's serious about this. With Tariq it sounds like he's more intested with pushing his HC sales and lecture attendances

Around 12:00 "I hope black boys aren't pledging to the flag"
fukk You Umar.
This is MY country as well.
Come up off that bullshyt.
We need to embrace what this country stands for more than anyone else. We've been more patriotic than ANY other group. Hands down.
Look at this c00n.I wish you would stop saying this. We are literally slaves in this country. Umar isn't wrong about this part and I like you do NOT agree with some of what Umar does or say at all.Around 12:00 "I hope black boys aren't pledging to the flag"

None of his thoughts are really pushing Black Nationalism or Pan-Africanism forward.
He's basically regurgitating Bobby Wright, Amos Wilson, etc. Dr. Amos was a real PhD, a professor, etc. He specialized in educating the Black child. Dr. Bobby was a real PhD, a professor, etc. Both were great men.
He's basically taken Dr. Bobby's down-to-earth, charismatic approach and paired it with Dr. Amos's theoretical, professorial approach.
What we need is an activist scholar to push Dr. Amos's Blueprint for Black Power forward. It needs to be revised and updated to reflect the current realities of Black people.
