A lot of these pro-black influencers despise black folks. Hell, a decent amount people in pro-black spaces period hate black folks, especially poor black folks. Their entitlement towards our community, our money and the resources we have is very caucasian-like tbh.

Shiiii......I remember when Cythnia G was "pro-Black" and even got knocked up by a literal Hotep in the conscious space and we all saw how she switched it up and became the leading voice for divestors(despite not even being one herself.)

I've seen a similar transformation happen to Oshay Duke Jackson. He started off as more of a conscious brother peddling pro-Black talking points then, eventually, he started sounding more and more like a Diet Tommy Sotomayor and more of a manosphere content creator shytting on Black folks and encouraging Black men to date IR or foreign.

Even Tariq conversing with all those White boys in the Alt Right is suspect as hell even if he does it to keep his foot on their neck. To me, just giving them a platform to speak and debate with him defeats the whole purpose of defeating them. And the way that the Bed Bucking film was memed to oblivion by the Alt Right that Tariq gave exposure to left a sour taste on my mouth too. And that's not even touching on him peddling Q Anon conspiracy theories and telling Black people to hold their votes(which both got retweeted by the MAGA crowd a lot from what I've seen.)

Overall, I think the conscious community today is in a weird space especially after a number of people got exposed in it. Brother Polight going down the R Kelly route didn't help either.

Wait a minute breh. You got the timeline messed up a bit. She was already dabbling in the divestor space for a good minute before that dude knocked her up. Her cronies just euro-stepped around her being a complete hypocrite because she was telling them things they want to hear.

That's all these people want at the end of the day. They just want these Youtubers to give credence to beliefs they already have. That's why folks hate Tariq, but make excuses for Umar and vice-versa. Two bullshyt peddlers, but one happens to peddle a brand of bullshyt that they agree with.

honestly, why not just run a fukking summer school. Have high school and college aged black kids Tudor kids. You can rent out university spaces to run summer camps and summer schools.

I actually went to something like this when I was a kid.
It was run by some hoteps in a black bookstore...

But google “charter or private” schools in your cities, black founded, ran for years..hell I was just at one (and have the photos) where all they learn is black history and recite black literature instead of National athem etc…

Ain’t nobody tryna stop no school unless maybe you was opening a Black Pride school in KkK Kentucky or something..this man ain’t as important to the “other side” as he makes himself out to be

A lot of those black charter schools are terrible, you’re right it has become a grift.

I used to think black owned charter schools would be the answer to black America’s education woes, then learned first hand that some black adults are very invested in fukking over black children as well.

And some parents still aren’t shyt no matter what school their kid is at.
