You had to really be paying attention but one of Hope’s talking points was a dead gIve away that he wasn’t a woman but Umar still didn’t catch it.

Treh was asked does white supremacy play a role in the black man’s plight and he responded ”as black men WE fail to realize black women also fall under the same scrutiny”. Had to listen closely but he was identifying as a man in that answer. He gave a longer answer than what I quoted but the “as black men” and “we“ stood out to me.
