Yes because taking on dragic and Lamar Odom and a bunch of big contracts was what they needed so that they end up with mediocre players that'll keep them at 35-43 wins for a few years. Then they don't get Davis and are 15-20 win status once the mediocre players they get in the chris paul to the lakers trade age out.

But that's the logic of these teams. Every draft they think they're going to get the next Lebron. Those players only come around once in a generation.

Most franchises don't even have an identity. It's too star driven. Players now a days don't care as much because they're paid so well.

Take the Thunder for example. Why would a player like Kanter call out Westbrook for taking too many shots when he's making over 17 million this season

Winning use to equate to getting paid more bread but now you don't even have to win or be that great to

No one player, especially at 19 or 20, is gonna single-handedly turn around a shytty org. shytty orgs tend to get the best prospects. I am just glad guys are that one way loyalty shyt. Nothing is gonna change until a) they change the draft b) fans start holding these orgs accountable rather than the players all the time.
