The Jaguars have not cut Blackmon, and Caldwell has said numerous times that the team does not plan to do so. Blackmon's spot on the reserve/suspended list means he doesn't count against the roster limit or salary cap, and the Jaguars do not have to pay his salary.


The team is working with him and wants him back if he stops drinking and getting arrested. I the team for working with him. But dude obviously doesn't care enough to walk the line til he is back in the league.


Not sad just shows how alcohol is some peoples first priority in life.

Yeah it's a big problem that I see everyday in my line of work. Blackmon needs to to take his treatment seriously or he won't lead a productive life let alone a career in football. He hasn't complied with whatever rehab strategies he's been taught, which is on him.
