Here let me explain how I think the insider trade part of this works:

No one on earth knows how the players will produce. The scam is, week to week, insiders know which combination of players have been played the least, which exponentially increases their odds of winning if they play those players. Normal folk plays against the odds of their players doing well + the different combinations of players played on that given day.

Insiders subtract one huge level of the odds which at minimum increases their likelihood of winning by 25-35% (conservatively) while wagering the same amount of money as everyone else.

shyt is fukking shady.

I've been trying to think this through as well. How does the scam actually work? This is the best answer I've seen so far.

Unless something a lot bigger is going on :merchant:

Like another poster said, these guys dont sit around and bet. A lot have computer programs that generate hundreds of lineups and then they have scripts that place the bets for them. They could be at the golf course while their computer program is killing you. There have been numerous stories written and aired that showed the average person has no shot at winning these games yet people still throw their money away thinking they can win. How can you win playing 1 lineup filled with some players you chose with your heart against someone who has a program picking the 500 best lineups statistically? Some of those guys dont even like sports, they are really computer programmers that want what is essentially free money for them.

They try to cover some of their tracks on the insider info deal saying that employees are not allowed to bet on their site.........but if i know the details of the bets at my employers site you know its going to be damn near identical at the competitors site. Whats stopping me from using the info i gain at Fanduel and using it to win big on Draft Kings?

simple statistics.....nikkaz dont' get it.

Just use that shyt to play an in house contest between the homies and friends or a traditional league and keep it moving.

i wish i knew how to hack sites.. would done this years ago and bet on random sites....now theyre probably gonna get regulated etc..
I think this was the point of the story to maybe get people talking and make this regulated. Wasn't this a big deal just a little while ago regarding making this like actual betting? I wouldn't be surprised some body that wanted that to happen was behind this

Ok I see where you are coming from here. I always thought that was possible, During NBA season some of the winning lineups just seemed impossible like who would even think of picking that guy. Guys picking Jon fukking Leur on the night he has the game of his life :wtf:

yup. Just go looking at the winning line ups and you see something shady going on. But at the end of the day I've taken those strategies(pick players you think are good but no one else would pick combined with a couple almost guaranteed point scorers and see what happens). Kinda like playing the lottery but more fun :manny:

If they know the ownership percentage of players, they can make a lineup of likely high score guys with low ownership potential. This way, if he goes off, you're way ahead. Say for instance Julio is 25% owned but A. Brown is 5% owned, its better to play Brown because you'll differentiate your lineup if he goes off and those players have an equal chance of scoring 20-30 points. Also, in some of the contest with only 2-3 games where a maximum of 10 tds or so will be scored, you can easily build a lineup with all the good guys and then a couple low ownerships guys, and hope one of the low ownership guys hits big. If they do, you win.

I tell people that ask me about it. It's like playing the lottery basically

Just like online poker was all a scam, amazing how people are naive to think something unregulated with that much money involved is somehow legit

If it's scam this $15,000 dollar check I received from fan duel must not be real.

I will admit it's tough winning the full jackpot but I entered a $25.00 dollar 5 million dollar tournament just one time and won 15k

So I can't complain.

It was lucky as fuk though. Don't know if I'll ever come close to winning that type of money again
