If it's not regular super saiyan or SSG it don't matter. Toriyama even said SSJ2 & 3 are just extensions of the first form. (like ascended & ultra super saiayn)

Honestly most of it makes pretty good sense. I just think alot of people get confused because of the anime and other stuff. So alot can be blamed on Toei.Toriyama got his loyal fans stressing and calculating on how to make his stories make some goddamn sense
