Yea but that’s a marketed mixtape, first one was a mixtape and even though it’s a streaming album .. The whole tape is done by Metro like the first one, and 21s actual albums are not just produced by Metro strictly

It was a studio album. It was released on Slaughter Gang/Epic like his other albums. Also, just because it was done completely by Metro doesn’t negate its album status. That’s like saying KD1, KD2 and Magic aren’t Nas albums because they’re entirely produced by Hit Boy.

Facts. Savage Mode 2 was definitely a album. Metro Boomin was one of the biggest producers in the world at that point.
Label wasn’t paying him all that shyt just for a mixtape (plus a Drake feature)
But With the success of SM1 & 21 becoming a household name they took advantage as they should & made it into a album, it’s kinda how Future did with DS1 & DS2

“Jimmy Cooks” being #1 on the charts speaks volumes about how the public took the album.
This album might be a grower and MIGHT be appreciated over the years. However the album as a whole is gonna be lost in the sauce as the year progresses. Especially if/when Drake jumps on more songs and drops “Scary Hours 3.”
At this point I wouldn’t even be surprised if he makes “Scary Hours 3” a full fledge rap album just so he can go down in history as having the number 1 dance album and the number 1 rap album in the same year.

Going solely off the last track, I feel like that's where he's taking it. I'm assuming jimmy cooks is a prelude to another album dropping unexpectedly with nothing but raps. Prolly ft Wayne, Nicki, Megan, french, and prolly a couple others
