Beat is superb.
As for the lyrics, Drake has bars but it's like 2011-2013 era Lil Wayne type bars that are a mix between forced/cringeworthy punchlines and actual good wordplay. But, compared to that narcoleptic song with SZA he dropped earlier, this song is WAY better for creating hype for FATD. So, Drake was very smart for dropping this right before the album drop.
And I still don't know why Drake keeps trying to bait Kanye and Pusha even today. It just doesn't even seem necessary for him. I mean...Kanye's in a sunken place and probably semi-blackballed rn and Pusha's in a different lane entirely. If he needs beef for a buzz or clout, he should be going at Kendrick or hell....even Ebro(a fellow Bi-Racial Jew who's dissed the shyt out of him on Hot 97) but he won't do that fsr.
Overall, dropping this song probably saved the rollout. It's not that elite but is way better than S&R and Slime You Out by far. But the crazy thing is there's a strong chance it won't even make it on the album.
