The thing I respect about Drake is he pays homage to those before him; he's not one of these dudes who forgets who influenced him and paved the way for all the success that he has had. He is a fan of hip hop music and he shows it. He grew up in the 90s listening to dudes like Ma$e and Diddy, and he was like a fan in the one video when Ma$e and Diddy were performing just dancing and wildin' out in the background.

:salute::salute::salute: to you Drake; you put your city on the map last night.

I don't fukk with Drake on a musical level, besides like 3 songs.. I actually used to DESPISE him..but I've learned to respect him. Like someone else said, he respects the old, and the new. Reuniting Mase and Piddy, pushing Ye and Hov to do WTT, shoutin out Chicago artists on twitter, puttin cats onto Migos by remixing their song, countless shyt..

yeah, he's a corny, soft simp type dude, but its undeniable that he does some good shyt for music and uses his popularity in music to help other artists and give them a bit of leverage..
