Breh I feel everything you saying , but this nikka is basically running hip hop right now. Where is the 50 to this Ja??

It was very calculated breh. He came in with the sports references, the Wayne cosigns, and the rest of it. He's cultivated a fan base over the years that's grown to love him personally despite the music. He showed us in his little spat with Meek how his supporters literally did not care whether he wrote his music or not, so long as it was him rapping and him in the videos.

He (his machine) has taken advantage of every last drop of marketing and publicity power to make him immune to attacks by appealing to the lowest common denominator, uninformed, lazy rap listener who wants a safe peek into the rap world from a comfortably fair-skinned, well-spoken, Jewish,:pacspit: Apple Inc sponsored piece of shyt.

I don't know if we have another 50 out there. Hell, I'm a Future fan and have to deal with the fact that WATTBA exists in the way that it does. Drake's influence is powerful.

Man fukk all that. I know all these rappers are hoes, but this nikka Drake goes above and beyond to prove how tough he is . How many times is he going to get away with changing up his accent or his city he rep? At some point you have to be held accountable .

He only raps with that style though. He's himself everywhere else you see him. Compare that to a Rick Ross who's whole persona is false. That's why there's nothing to "expose" about Drake. You're either a fan, or you're not.

I don't think anyone can check drake or take him down at this point, just let nature run its course. If he falls off ok but if not then it wasn't meant to be.

That's where you're wrong though. Rap has always been a competitive sport, and rappers have always looked to their fans for support. Hell, we pay their bills.

But Drake's situation is different. Companies from Burger King to Apple to God knows what's next are realizing this kid has the power to increase their earning potential and are going to start pumping money to make him an inescapable presence in the rap game. He's Exhibit A of the selling-out and white-washing of the genre. It's already started breh.

Sounds like the masterful Jigga Man.

Uh....nah man.

And hell, Jay got called out for "paying homage" to half the game, several times.

This fool Drake took numerous songs and song concepts but if you point that out people look at you like you're crazy. That don't even count the reference tracks, the ghost writer allegations going back damn near to the start of his career, the constant stealing of slang, etc.

There is literally nothing to Drake that is his own. He's like a Spice Girl.

Fred.

We're not even gonna talk about how Drake interpolating "Six" into his project names and using now to refer to his neighborhood is a direct idea- steal from Gucci? :mjpls:

I swear to God sometimes I think Drake fans can't be listening to any other rapper. Else they'd smarten up. :heh:

Scust at this nikka and his stans. He don't know if he from Houston ,Memphis, Atlanta , Canada .
