Do they really? Kendrick is proving your theory wrong.
You can't have just one rapper sell/stream at high numbers.
Kendrick, J Cole, Travis Scott, Future & Playboy Carti (Eminem always sells well as a legacy artist) all have their positions. If you remove Drake from the equation, there is nothing to replace him. Again, it would go against everyone's interest for UMG to 'Diddy' Drake, which was my initial point.

Until I literally saw that post, I think Drake actually might have a drinking problem or something else. I understand he’s in his villain era, but this is something else.

Didn't he say as much after releasing FATD, how he was taking a break to fix his stomach issues?

Nah. The music industry is cooked. If Drake disappears, there's no one there to take his spot. They need Drake as much as Drake needs them.

No the music industry would not be cooked if Drake disappears and that is evidenced by how he is being treated, that convo is reserved for the Beyonce's and Taylor Swifts. That's not to say he is not a major artist but his presence is greatly overstated.

I disagree. There are new pop stars that are still being made. None on the level of Beyonce or Taylor Swift but there is still an avenue for pop stars to be made. New rappers aren't selling records. If Drake disappears, there's a vacuum. Again, this is a response specifically referring to UMG and them 'Diddying' Drake. Think of this strictly in a business perspective.

Edit: I probably should've said the rap music industry is cooked.

Based on the DMs between the two, or lack thereof, Drake never built a rapport with the politician. :ehh::yeshrug:

No wonder he didn't show "loyalty". It's not like Jagmeet Singh was going to take a random rap beef serious. It wasn't even a California vs Canada beef. That's just some fans making it seem like that.

Still probably not a smart decision on the politician's part. He's alienating a small part of the voting base that he doesn't need to. :picard:
