as a reputed drake detractor I'mma have to say this isn't that big of a deal.
its obvious why he does this kind of shyt but at this point no one is gonna check him for it so who cares. The artists who came out know what the deal is but its just business. it doesn't "do anything for NY" but it gives those artists a big audience to perform some classics

What resurgence. designer and french dikkriding the south. the south and west coast still better than u by miles. ur last legit rapper was fab in 2001. u haven't had a good rapper sinceNY has been in a resurgence period ever since Hot nikka dropped, its not a "much needed look" to have 2 legends who already had their time perform at his show, tis not gonna change the course of anything.. its a cool moment and nothing more
NY doesnt need any looks right now, they been creating their own waves for a while now and a lot of artists are emerging out of there organically without the help of any vultures like drake
