But CONSENSUS says otherwise. Overwhelming consensus is that Nas whopped Jay’s ass in the battle and that Ether is, at minimum a top 5 diss of all time. Jay himself acknowledged his L in real time. His crew acknowledged his L. His business partner acknowledged the L. The hip hop community acknowledged his L and made Ether the verb for decimating an opponent lyrically.
