This is a VERY stupid point

When Grunge was hot Hollywood took part
When New Jack Swing was hot Michael took part
When G-Funk was hot everybody from all coast took part

That's the nature of the business. All you could ever hope for is that YOU get a chance to be the act with the hot sound that everyone is trying to emulate which is a feat few can ever say was the case for them

its not a stupid point. he gave perfect examples of gucci, gotti, & wayne putting people on and building them up. drake does not do that. not even close.

especially gotti. he got money bag, 42 dugg, & est gee coming up. drake doesnt do that. he got pnd and majid but they are only there to write and sap them for ideas he’s not really pushing them.

you’re examples are actually off because those are styles of music not artist. an artist dabbling in a new style is not the same thing as drake using a buzzing artist as easy marketing by doing a 16 and maybe a hook. an artist diving into a new style they have to carry the load and create it effectively. more risk involved and if it fails its bad on the artist dabbling in that new style. drake can hop on a single from a buzzing artist with 0 chance of it affecting him if the single flops. its smart. but as an artist if you look at it as being used you are 100% right because its more risk on your end than drake even tho it can be seen as a good look but you really dont need that look.

everything he said in this video is facts.

I’m not rolling. Drake is no different than anyone who calls your phone for a feature when they realize they can use you. Of course Gucci & Gotti invest in THEIR investments haha Gucci is running around talking about the “New 1017” but what happened to the “Old 1017” Guess they’re all used up huh :ohhh::mjlol:

This is America. Work on an idea & the boss fleshes it out and takes most of the credit
