It's stupid for major labels to engage in bot streams, cause
1. It is Illegal.
2. Payout is directly related to share of streams of streams, if you share is higher than it should be then you are stealing money from everyone else. So why would majors let certain artists with say a bad deal steal money from smaller artists with a good deal? Makes no sense. Why would a major let another major steal from them with causing a fuss?
3. You are directly defrauding everyone who isn't boting as much as you do because of 2.
4. If anything it would be the artists themselves who would try to buy streams to defraud their label.
It's really interesting how conniving and stealth people think that music labels are. Let music business conspiracy theorist tell it they are smoother and more criminal than the CIA and Mossad together, and better, shyt rarely to never leaks. Cause we all know that these hipsters and every night clubbing execs are just stealth like that.

he sued Dre before Dre Day came out and didn’t have to after it dropped because he was already entitled to 20% of every thing generated for 6 years….the work was already done…I can’t say for sure but I’d bet Aubrey would drop his suit for a fifth of UMG’s Kenny related earnings for 6 years
