There is a stigma that violence is cool when it comes to rap music.

Street culture has a direct tie to this.

So when a certain type of person hangs out in an "impoverished" part of town, its deemed as "cool" or "daring" based on the image of romanticizing the hood.

Drake, being one of these people who has never had to fear for his life before rap, displays his disconnect by, showing how much he's an actual tourist in our country and at the same time, being Americas biggest star.
