This song is just another reason Common ethered him. Delusional fans are still trying to give Drake a forced W for that Vanessa Bryant Diss verse with him talking tough with Ross and Montana in the back. Com murked him for dolo. This song is exactly why I said what I said in the "No New Friends" thread about Drakes unnecessary singing. His voice is not that strong to begin with. "Say my name" really? How many weak songs is he going to be on before some of you admit his style is getting repetitive?
"Stated from the bottom" was average to but overhyped. That "No New Friends" song is very weak but it will be overhyped. Dudes even tried to give Drake a pass for that off beat flow on "No guns allowed" and that forgettable collabo's with Bieber. How can you guys hear the songs Drake has been on and not be a little concerned about "Nothing was the Same"? He is not bringing the same heat. This song is beyond forgettable and Beyonce should sue for messing up a Classic like "Say my name". Speaking of that great song. Darkchild killed the beat on the original but I was also a fan of the Timbaland remix, beat was sick:
