So radio is playing a song more than previously, all awhile the general public is searching for it and playing it less and less ?

In history, is this common? That the general public is searching for a song less and less, while the radio stations play it more and more thinking the public wants to hear it more ?

All awhile, Nokia streams are rising significantly and is trending on social media (yes this matters in 2025 if you arent retarded) but radio play is non existent completely, you think thats normal as well ?
