" and similar shyt
Im justi'm sayin...all you gotta do is check the original thread when the song dropped and you gonna see plenty people say "jay elec versace flow![]()
" and similar shyt
it's obvious what he was doing, and i was just pointing out the obvious, but you had to turn it into a cross-generational influence vs biting argument...which is irrelevant because he was clearly doing a migos imitation on the first half of the verse and clearly doing a notorious thugs imitation on the second half
you're a tricky fella mister![]()
at going at Jay Elec for biting when the dudes hes biting are even bigger bitersNo I'm serious you just don't know how copyright works on soundcloud hence the reason why theres no charge to have an account unlike other music services that stream copyrighted material. You're playing stupid...oh okay, my bad...carry on

It's deeper than rap![]()
You're saying soundcloud voluntarily decided to pull the song, on Drake's behest...even though he has zero actual authority to do so, seeing as though the beat is 100% Soulja Boy's intellectual property (well not completely Soulja's...there's clips from TV shows and possibly samples in there too, but you get what i'm saying)...because he's possibly gonna shout them out in a song sometime in the future?
I'm guessing the guy put "lol" immediately after saying "drake had it took down", because it was a joke folks

maybe it keeps getting deleted because it's garbage
migos prolly got it took down for intellectual property theft from all the blatant biting jay elecyawnica did on it

If drake purchased the track/song but never made a song out of it and instead a freestyle then the beat could still come into play as copyrighted material.I won't completely dismiss that (my ignorance of soundcloud's apparently singularly unique application of copyright law)...educate me then homie, how does it work...drake nor his label have any copyright ownership to this beat...it's a random soulja boy beat that he dropped a freestyle over...soulja is now selling the OG independently on iTunes. .. How does drake have it "pulled", and under what authority or statute?
ThisSoundcloud would need proof of ownership before pulling a song on DMCA...........
UNLESS: The person making the claim is 1) an existing copyright holder who has made a claim before, probably even has a special account to do so or 2) a big in the music business.
Now let's use logic to figure this shyt out. Is Soulja Boy going to file a DMCA claim on his track gaining MASSIVE exposure right now? fukk NO. So who has the power to make a move like this? Not hard to fukking figure it out. Aubrey my friends. And if it wasn't Aubrey it was an AR or someone in his crew.
If drake purchased the track/song

Who the hell purchases the beat of already existing songs to freestyle over? What would be the point? that like defeats the entire purpose of putting out a "freestyle" .... Purchase a beat, freestyle over it...plaster it all over the internet for free making zero attempt to monetize it or put it out through official channels...you might as well just youtube yourself burning a big bag of money....why are you jumping through all these logical hoops trying to make this stupid sh!t make sense? Soulja Boy owns the rights to the song, he's selling the sh!t (the only legitimate version of the song) on Itunes at this very momentSoundcloud would need proof of ownership before pulling a song on DMCA...........
