I won't completely dismiss that (my ignorance of soundcloud's apparently singularly unique application of copyright law)...educate me then homie, how does it work...drake nor his label have any copyright ownership to this beat...it's a random soulja boy beat that he dropped a freestyle over...soulja is now selling the OG independently on iTunes. .. How does drake have it "pulled", and under what authority or statute?

Any of the various parties that own the rights to the clip of Eastbound and Down that's featured prominently in the intro of freestyle: Time Warner, HBO, any number of random production companies and studios, etc...
