In light of that, whatever he drops has to stand on it's own merits. This ain't rocket science. If he can't drop a 10/10 on his own then he can't make any claims about his skills or talent or placement in hip-hop.

Now, if he admits to being a "brand", same as Dre, or Puffy....so be it. I have zero problems with that.

lol nah, Kanye is my favorite artist and I defend him the same way. I would say the same shyt when people said "buh buh Kanye doesn't make his own beats anymore!" or "buh buh Kanye dont write his raps!" Because I understand Kanye is the artist, he's the producer. It's his vision he brings to life, and he collabs with the people who will help him do it.

I respect your opinion though. Obviously we on a different state of mind with this. Me I'll go with the 10/10 album over the 8/10 album, no matter how it got created. Because at the end of the day for me, it's all about the music.
