he's lowkey coasting & spiraling with the negative feedback he's received for his last project.

he drop a song it goes #1 cus drake dropped a song but it aint a real hit cus it has no staying power no real impact.

this hiatus he finna take he needs to get a better team around him cus he's about to get left behind once the game shifts to more dance focused songs.

Imo what makes a star truly special is when they could ‘drop a blank cd and go platinum’, but they still make quality music.

Bc when they’re in that megastar space where anything they drop is gonna be a hit, it’s hard to have quality control. It’s only in hindsight that people realize it was actually trash. 50 is a perfect example of this. After GRODT he made bullshyt that still sold

I say all that to say this: for the longest time Drake still made great music even as a megastar. Ie Nice for what, Gods plan.

When he fell off Imo is when he dropped ‘2 Sexy’ as his single :scust: I remember looking around confused like wait this is an utterly ATTROCIOUS song. He’s sampling Right Said Fred this is bad

Nobody checked it so he’s gon deeper into that hole of trash music. Hes lost his way
