Worth mentioning with Drake, this dude came out with a shoe and this is what he came up with

Not only are they alarmingly swagless and corny, they’re called ‘Hot Steppa’

I say that to say, Drake is not from the culture. He’s culture adjacent. So you can’t just leave him to his own devices and be assured he’s gonna come out with some good shyt. He needs to be curated and framed properly or he’ll do something corny. 40 didn’t produce this album and lo n behold, Drake gave us something corny.

The bed squeaks on Current, ‘your p*ssyyyyy’, the goofball tempo of Sticky...

That’s why it’s so funny Beyoncé dropped a few days later. Mfers know good music when they hear it. Folk know/remember good house music. If it’s good we’ll rock to it. There a few good tracks here, but Drake dropped the imitation crab version of house

Drake still can't sing worth a shyt. He better call TPain to fix his microphone for the tour

Overall there are some songs I like but this is kinda forgettable on first listen. The Weeknd would have sold this album better tbh, shyt some of the pop singers like Charlie Puth and Khalid would have sold the songs better.

Some of the songs remind me of the songs that play in the background at Express stores lol. Others sound like you'd hear them playing in the background of a gay nightclub on a TV show :mjlol:

You know how all these hit songs get dance remixes that get popular overseas? Feel like he decided to cut the middleman out and do it himself :russ:

Production is pretty good, maybe some other people will remix the songs or redo them without Drake.

Jimmy Cooks was :lawd: :dj2:

My thing is why didn’t he just do what he did on Sticky on most of the tracks? House music is built for slick talk. I didn’t like his singing efforts on here though I respect the bravery.

Yep and it was a homerun

This album is bad bc there’s no rhythm or emotion, no ‘umph’ to the tracks

So there’s 2 different camps. 1 camp doesn’t like it bc they listened to it and don’t like the music. The other camp tho is people who are slamming it just bc it’s different. I’m camp 1. If he made a album full of Get Together I’d be here for it. This is bad bc it’s bad and repetitive
What’s repetitive about this?

Every single song has a different melody, beat and story

Serious question, who is this album for? Who is the target audience for this?
