“Jimmy Cooks” being #1 on the charts speaks volumes about how the public took the album.
This album might be a grower and MIGHT be appreciated over the years by the public. But like I stated before on this thread, this album gonna be lost in the sauce as the year progresses. Especially if/when Drake jumps on more songs and drops “Scary Hours 3.”
At this point I wouldn’t even be surprised if he makes “Scary Hours 3” a full fledge rap album just so he can go down in history as having the number 1 dance album and the number 1 rap album in the same year.

Jimmy Cooks is #1 while having nothing to with the EDM of the rest of the album (sounds like some memphis trap), so how does that make the album a "grower"?
