Man I never seen so many folks roast a Drake album like this :pachaha:

Like even real music heads that I respect are roasting this :ohhh:

Like i said, I’m not defending it but I commend him for doing something different. But sheesh :russ:

This is basically the album I hoped Weeknd would make instead of that mindless EDM shyt. I like the house vibes on here, the production is good and you can tell DJs are going to cut the shyt out of this album (the way beats ride out, this is gonna get sampled to oblivion).

I think the weakest part of the album is...well, Drake. The melodies largely feel like a collection of specific ones he's used before. Very simplistic. I think a more dynamic singer would really make this work. I'm not done with the album though. Don't hate it. I sat her and clowned him for not trying anything different. Well here we go, he did something different.

You have no understanding what house is either because Drake’s album is also second rate Calvin Harris EDM, not house. Now this is house, and she is rapping better than anything on that new Drake project

House music has melody + soul while the Drake album has none of that. It is just a bunch of noise, henceforth EDM

Yup. This is his 808s & Heartbreak.

This album will definitely be a shift.

Y’all are really delusional to be honest. 808s & Heartbreaks is actually innovative and sounds sonically like nothing before it. The Drake project is literally rehashing a sound that was popular a decade ago, and y’all are trying to say that that is revolutionary?. It is also doing that while sounding worse than the worst of that era

The internet is wild. On day two, I’m seeing a similar pattern with how people treated Whole Lotta Red

Is the album trash because he isn't rapping or because the songs are just trash? This is the only Drake album I've ever been remotely interested in listening to, :ohhh:, I prefer his harmonizing over his rapping.
