Where that falls flat is UMG didn’t ask him to partake in this battle.

Drake literally asked and begged for it. Then Drake would have to prove that motive for the allegation which doesn’t make sense even if trying to sway leverage. You don’t personally destroy your prime asset for someone who works with the subsidiary. That would be my argument if I represented UMG. What do UMG gain for destroying Drake?
