How was it framed the same? Drake filed the lawsuit then asked for an extension.
In this case UMG gets sued an asked for an extension because their offices and many of the people that would have knowledge of the facts are in a place that was ravaged by fires.

Did drake lose? Based of strategy alone he lost. But Kendrick had a lot of help. every record he released was backed where as drake just dropped on his own and had no push.
And after the fact his songs have been getting deleted whenever he puts something out (the leaks, freestyle etc)
He knows this is how the industry works but now he's on the receiving end of it.

As a fan of drake, I really don't care what happens with the lawsuit or the beef. His music stands. I'll listen to it regardless. So use that excuse somewhere else.

This is also wrong, you're grasping at straws.
His team had to file an extension because their discovery petition yielded nothing because neither UMG or Spotify were obligated to oblige them - and neither did.
People were making fun of them because the only evidence they had and appear to still have, are social media and live stream commentary.

If all of this don't change your perception of him, there's something wrong with you. I'm not a fan of drake but if my favorite artist pulled a move like this, I'll still listening to him but it would definitely never be the same
