Drake is the modern day Eminem, he attracts non rap fans. not saying he doesn't make some good music but he appeals to a fanbase that's more for crossover than hip hop.

I don't think anyone ever confused either of those two for being polished. If anything, they are the opposite. Both in part blew up because of how raw they were at times when everyone else was making radio friendly music
It has nothing to do with the particulars of what you said.
I'm talking about peoples tendency to over rate virtually every aspect of an artist while they're in the spotlight. The ridiculous statements range from "most polished rapper ever" all the way up to "GOAT". That shyt was rampant during both 50's and Wayne's run. People saying all kinds of retarded shyt because they're caught up in the hype. It's happening again like clockwork with Drake. It'll happen again for the next guy, too.
His discography ain't even a decade old....by most accounts most of it hasn't aged well....but he's the most polished rapper of the last 40 years. Like I said, get the fukk outta here.

'moist' is the perfect word to describe drake and his fans. how anyone who isn't 14 or female can listen to this shyt proudly is beyond me.
i don't like drake and neither do most of my friends. so there goes your 'universal' bullshyt. i can't wait until we're done pretending this clown has any place in hip-hop
