Idj where people get off saying Drake is one of the best out right now I think he just knows how to cater to his target audience. He clearly knows how to make songs for women(imo THEY are the only ones left buying albums) hence why he's so popular. I feel like most dudes play his shyt because girls like it or theyre into that soft/r&b shyt, to each his own tho.
I'm disappointed in Drake because I saw his potential when I stumbled on his Comeback Season mixtape when it dropped and thought he was gonna be the resurrection of dope rappers that can actually spit. Ironically tho, So Far Gone was mostly rap sung/soft and thats when he blew up and despite saying "Stop actin like teen girls are my only market" I feel like they pretty much are.
This nikka is an average lyricist at best and most people see him as a dual threat but honestly his singing isn't that good at all. I have my moments where I can be his biggest fan and his worst critic and with two BAD albums imo Idk how ppl can still call him good(but of course this is way too subjective to even go there). To end this rant I'll say he has some dope songs(Say Whats Real is his best imo) but he's never gonna be amaing to me because he dumbs his shyt down to make "bangers" or cater to women, but of course why would he care about what I think? As long as his bytches love him.
