It's because they don't know how to tune the 808 to the sample, I know because when I first started making beats this is the only way I could get an 808 under a sample was to cut out the highs, but if you tune the 808 to the same key as the sample it fit underneath it perfectly, Three Six Mafia did it all the time

Always cracks me up. Dude "rapping raps" the same on every "rapping rap" song. Whether it works or not tends to depend on the beat and lines, but a lot of times these tracks just bleed together.

lol its a hell of a lot harder than he has been going so thats probably why. Its not bad at all if he does album like that at least it would be closer to take care but its probably just a new ghost writer.

But lets be real even if its light compared to some of the best verses. Most nikkas today just dont wanna even attempt to string some good lines together so ill give him credit for that.
