son gets too caught up on that RnB tip, some of these songs are draining, like they literally take your energy and you start yawning. some of it sounds literally sounds like music for 13-14 year olds.

its weird, at this point it almost feels like he's purposely trying to dodge the rap shyt. and i don't begrudge an artist for trying different things, but just cause its different it don't make it good. also, its not really different when it becomes expected. like before listening to a drake project these days i already expect the draining slow songs, and the fake caribbean type songs.

anyways, i didn't listen from the start but there's a few that i liked i guess, that 442 sounded cool although i really only caught the sampha part and i think there was another one or two that i liked
