If you read the thread, you will see I listened to the album. And brought some of the tracks. But I'm objective. I'm not gonna brand someone a social outcast because they ain't feeling some of the music.

My insult to you was uncalled for. But with that said, many people here aren't being "objective" - just peddling their own agendas.

Perhaps you are giving your honest opinions but that doesn't mean others are, especially when you just nikkas here giving one stars and writing pre-emptive "trash" reviews before a single bar was rapped or a note was hit.

Drake just strikes a chord with these guys. You just gotta take it for what it is. Drake has insolated his brand to the point that the ghost writing doesn't even effect him. And he was smart as he saw his lane in rap was diminishing and he went to go into other genres to not only broaden his reach but get out of being just a rapping singer. He will never in my eyes being in the reigns of Nas or Jay or big in terms of rap but the man is talented and makes good music. I'm not into the South African dance stuff but it sounds good and I might give it a spin to broaden my own reach as a music producer/ engineer myself.

People just think he is corny and tries to hard sometimes. But that's more to his personality than his music. And the music is the only thing that matters to me
