I'd say this dudes bar attempt game got way better on this album. I'm only looking for his pen really. his presence sounds more aggressive. Dope hi's, not too much lows. That party joint I surprisingly can't get into.. at least yet.

I've been listening to this for the past week now and I was wrong brehs , if you ignore the stretch of like 4 radio aimed tracks in the beginning up until 4422(even then the Jorja Interlude is amazing and it's in between those commerical tracks), you have an extremely solid album. Better than views and the rapping is there too, the singing in the tracks after blem are all the type of singing you expect from Drake. I think in the moment, those 4 back to back radio tracks really destroyed any momentum for me built up by No Smoke and No Long Talk

Agreed, I go from liking it to hating it and back again, only other song I wasn't really feeling was Since Way Back but it's really grown on me.

Those songs are great

Amazing on the radio sure, but they're all too formulaic at this point for me. With exception of Get It Together, I don't think Ill ever revisit those tracks or Glow on purpose.

The New Yorker review of this is really good. But this particular quote from it caught my attention.

No one gave a fukk about Joe Budden's podcast until he started talking about Drake.

I feel for anyone who instantly and confidently labeled More Life as trash. This is the only shyt you're gonna be hearing for the next 6-8 months and songs just get better with time. And yet, these nikkas can't end up doing an about face without losing credibility and exposing the fact that they're full of shyt.
